CHRISTIE MOUNTAIN - Bruce, WI

Christie Mountain features 21 runs, 19 of which are lighted. This includes two 4-Black Diamond category runs. This awesome ski hill has excellent snowfall as well as great snow-making capabilities, making it a dependable choice for downhill skiing. There is a full range of rental equipment available, as well as lessons for beginners. In addition to downhill skiing, Christie Mountain also has facilities for snowboarders and a new park exclusively for snow-tubing. Snow-tubing is a great way for families to enjoy the slopes—it requires no special skills, but it’s incredibly thrilling. Skiers of all levels will find trails to suit their abilities. The scenery at Christie Mountain is spectacular, with lots of great views and beautiful rock outcroppings.

Enjoy some fun on the slopes in one of the most beautiful places in all the Midwest at Christie Mountain. To get to Christie Mountain from Bruce, head 9½ miles northwest on Highway O. One-half mile west of The Blue Hills Trail. From Rice Lake head east on Highway C (Sawyer Street) 10 miles to the Barron-Rusk County Line where Barron County Highway C becomes Rusk County Highway O. Continue on Highway O another 10 miles to Christie Mountain.
